i read an old road and track article saying the ctr will be here eventually..
we'll see.
we'll see.
You're providing corroborating evidence to a long-standing rumor. Most people are a bit skeptical when it comes to things like rumors. While I don't doubt that you may very well have a piece of paper that says "2005 Civic Type-R" that gives no indication as to what exactly this hypothetical car is or when it's going to come out.
If when more information becomes available it turns out that we are indeed going to get the same CTR as the rest of the world and it's going to be a 2005 model then I'm sure everyone will remember that it got mentioned earlier on. But so far you haven't given enough information to make the conclusion that we are indeed getting the "real" CTR for 2005.
If you don't mind my asking, what other stuff is on this 2005 lineup list?

redesigned odyssey, fit, stream, civic TYPE R, that's the 05 honda lineup
I remember I went to a Honda dealer to ask them about the new Si before it came out and they told me to go to TOV cause that's where they get their info. :lmao:
Although, I am not questioning the validity of your info here, ODUB.

As a side note, since I've started at selling Toyotas I have already determined that the sales consultants aren't necessarily the most well informed people about the cars. They can be really good at reciting and recalling the information that Toyota gives us but by and large that is the extent of our knowledge.
Granted I've only been at this a week, but the sales meetings I've attended thus far consist of a review of the current specials, the typical encouragement to actually not be crappy sales consultants, and that's about it. Nothing exciting like, "we're getting a new Supra in '07."

Market manipulations have kept it at bay, and I'm still going to be surprised if it gets here.
