^ The time comes from the March 02 issue of Turbo & High-Tech Performance; I'm sure he's improved since then. Being an SCC subscriber, I haven't heard much of Shepherd's car in the last year. So... :dunno:

Holy Jeez. 9.00's? Erum... dayum.
Mine currently runs 999.99 because that's how long it takes for me to push 3400lbs 1320 feet on jackstands. =\ I'll have it running the 1/4 on its own power before too long, though. Maybe next season.
Your car looks awfully familiar. Weren't you at GT 6? GT 5 maybe? I know I've seen it somewhere. You're in DSMCA territory, so I probably have.

Get Together 5, and Get Together 6. They're annual DSM meetings that happen (usually) at Bull Run Regional Park in Manassas (Man Asses). You're in Maryland, so I was assuming you might be a member of DSMCA, and might have been to it. I won a lot of stuff in the raffle at GT-6 this year. Timing belt, shift knob, 16g turbo, Magnecores, and had some great food. About 300 people showed up, 250 cars or so. Russ Coxe ( http://www.ddsm.org/vrcracing/ ) came out showing off his new RamChargers LS-1 MAF setup, and there were a few other cars there with it.
YahooGroups.com has a group called DSM-Capital Area that is one of the most active DSM groups, and there are tons of 10-12 second DSMers (and JDMers for the GVR-4 fans) on that list. They organize track days, barbecues, car shows, autocross events and swap meets. In fact, they're planning a cookout now. The group is about 560 strong and it's been around for 6 or 7 years.
I guess I haven't seen your car, but that's one happy-looking 4g63 you've got there. You should look up that Yahoo Group. They'd love to have you. A very great bunch of peeps to know, and they're local to you.
I'm in the process of going full-on with a Garrett Ballistics GT-40 with a big FMIC and water injection. Maybe I'll turn an 11 one of these days on pump gas. That would make me really happy, and very very poor. I'm trying to have it streetable by GT-7 next year.
