in a rollover these will still lock you into the seat. leaving your head exposed.

if i ever roll my car shoot me cause my dad will first...and i dont drive fast enough to flip it. plus for autox im going to drive my uncles 'vette next summer.

that is why you are supposed to mount the harness to a mounting bar, and not mount them like at a 45 degree angle or to the where the rear passenger seat area is?

ill do some research but i know its something along those lines

well you want it at or above the shoulder height. or not more than 1" below your shoulder.

this is so you don't get spinal compression during an accident more than allowing you to move your head in a roll over.

you're pretty much locked in to the seat with the harness so you should not be able to move your upper torso at all.

im talking about mounting them to the spot above the rear seats...not at the bottom in the picture...if that makes a difference :dunno:

not really, since it's just another mounting point.
the idea of all harness is to lock you into your seat. how it does doesn't really matter too much in that respect.
