I don't plan on tracking the car. But yes I will be getting a custom weld in half roll cage.

yeah, I've just heard a few horror stories about the harnasses not giving slack in the event of a rollover (both track and street) where if the cab crumpled, you'd be screwed.

 

i'm not worried. I don't do stupid stuff on the street.

and the M Coupe roof B/C pillars are wayyy overengineered. It'll probably give a little but not crush down. The A pillar is already super strong because it's the same as on the Z3. If I was ever in a roll over where the roof collapsed on me I'd be long dead before the roof crushed my head.

I'm getting the half rollcage so #1 a piece of mind, #2 so I can bolt my shoulder harness in and #3 so I can mount a video camera.

Cant you just mount the harnesses to the floor? My friend got a Simpson 5point harness that all bolted to the floor....works too :-p
