Combo failure to extract/stovepipes are much more fun. It's when you still have the empty in the chamber and another round trying to feed in, typically caused by an extractor/extractor spring failure.
In a life or death situation, you would be dead if this happened unless you train on fixing it every night. It just takes too long.
Ideally, you would pull back the slide, dump or flick out the stovepiped cartridge, drop the magazine, let the slide slam home on the empty, and pull the slide to extract the empty. Insert a full magazine and reload.
If the stuck round won't pull out by the extractor manually, you need to drop a cleaning rod down the barrel to knock it out.
If you have a pistol that does this( such as anything made by Lorcin), either fix it or buy a better pistol that doesn't, such as a CZ-52 :drool:

The desert eagle is a .50 AE round. Powerful yes but not a practical gun really. It's a popular Holywood handgun but there are much better handguns out there. It's kind of a let down for a .50 caliber round really. Get the oppurtunity to shoot a .50 BMG caliber gun, don't pass it up. You won't even be able to hold the ****er in your hands.

hopefully I will next year when I go to the Philipines :rick:
I get to ride around in a Bradley and try out the guns (except the TOW and other anti tank missles
)
