Since you have crap tons of purpleheart, you should get some Burlwood. (unless of course you already have tons )

I have a couple of pieces of burl, not sure what type of wood they are though. The thing about burl is that it needs to be stabilized, and that makes it more expensive, of you can get a stabilizing chamber but I don't have one. It really gives great figuring though.

It's considered a Parker Style. So something like this: http://www.staples.com/Parker-Refill...product_469337

But it can be any "parker" style (knock off, regular ballpoint, gel, whatever).

I wanted to do the G2 Pro - Mont Blanc mod. Do you use Mont Blanc cartridges? A nice wooden pen is much better than a G2 Pro case.

ok, I've found some kits that a MB refill will fit in (although, people on the pen forums say MB is crap compared to some other/less expensive ink makers). this kit looks like this:


A little pricey though, including the MB cartridge, it'd be like $65 shipped.
