I worked at a company for about a year, and for the last 3 or 4 months of employment I consistantly went into work late, took days off, called in sick; or just didn't come in... and didn't do any work.

Then I got laid off.

What a shock.

 

ive worked in a cd store and a convenience store. so my fawk up list is a pretty long one. but now i drive a forklift now and the bad things i could do with that mock me on a daily basis. when one of those things finally happen, ill make sure to post a thread from the hospital.

 

mostly I just give people bad information. like saying this cable will work with USB, but it's actually a firewire cable... :rick:

I also tell people that we don't carry certain items at my store, and I see them 15 minutes later buying it... in my store.

I also put too much faith in my good-for-nothing, moronic co-workers. We were getting an inspection from our District manager and regional VP... so I told these dudes I'd fill all the shelves and peg hooks, the other guy will print tags, and the third guy will vacuum... I was the only one who did my part. Idiots.

 

I've had many shitty jobs but nothing seriously fukked up. Here's some of the minor things:

paper route: subbing for friend after school. Decided to take nap, didn't get up until 6 pm. Newspapers supposed to be delivered by 5, some customers called and complained.

dishwasher: got to cook on a Sunday. Day was slow so I made myself a BLT with lotsa bacon. Next customer orders something with bacon and there isn't any left cause I took the last pieces. :rick: Never got to cook again.

Pizza place: Didn't time pizza and gyro to come out of the oven at same time. One had to be under heat lamp until other finished. :gives:

Menard's (Like Home Depot): They changed my schedule and I didnt' notice. APparently they told me but I don't remember it so I didn't come in on a day when I was supposed to. Got reamed out. That job sucked major ass. So I just quit. Stopped coming to work. No two week notice or anything. I had big school project coming up and decided f*ck work.

stacked 4 pallets on top of each other in the back room of the grocery store i work at and the next day i find out that the whole stack fell over and they spent 4 hours picking up cans.



later i found out that someone else had unstacked the pallets to get some cans off and they were the ones who restacked it before it fell over

 

Long story, don't feel like typing it, but I can beat all of you. I almost got a customer killed where I work.

bump for morning fuk ups

 

At my old software company we used to watch movies on thursdays during lunch in this really nice multimedia room we built for testing. It sucked cause you had to sit through it even if you hated the movie (company bonding it was called).

Anyway on my day to bring in the movie I brought in Office Space, which surprisingly nobody had every seen. My multimedia dept. was going to see the first round of layoffs a couple weeks later so I figured it would lighten the mood.

Management never did like me to much.
