Was working at a pizza joint as a dishwasher with some guy from Africa. The restaurant sold beer on tap. Since the day was slow and we had finished our work, we told the manager we would take our break. The manager walked off to far end of the restaurant. I dared the African guy to pour a glass of beer. He did. I thought to myself, hell we ain't gonna get caught, so i poured myself one. YUM! After a couple more the african guy started doing some tribal african dance shit. I was laughing my ass off. After his dance he went to get some beer and BUSTED....the manager couldn't believe we were boozin it up on the job......FIRED!! The both of us. The job was shitty so i didn't care. I don't know what happened to the african guy. I used to prank call him for awhile but then his phone number was disconnected.

 

I forgot to hold the mayo.

 

i was filling an order for this fat guy at mcdonalds. he asked for extra pickles, but instead i put extra saliva. needless to say, he didn't notice.

 

I had been working at the golf course about 9 months, and was just promoted to work in the Pro Shop. It was my 2nd day ever working in the pro shop, and I was working the closing shift. The guy I was working with had a Senior Cruise to go on, so he left early...I was the only one there. Earlier in the day there had been a golf tournament "100 black men of silicon valley." By the time they finished, the pro shop was already closed. The tournament director wanted to know if he could bring all 50 of the people who won gift certificates in to spend them...I said no, I was already closed. Then a little while later, a guy came up to the pro shop explaining how he was from out of town, and had a gift certificate to get rid of. I let him in, he picked out a glove within 30 seconds, and I took his gift cert. Well in that period of about 2 minutes, the tournament director saw this. He walked in, yellin at me, calling me a racist and all this shit. So then these 2 white dudes walk in, and calm the guy down, get him out of the pro shop. He goes back to the bar and starts yelling, so I set the alarm code and went out the back way so I wouldn't have to pass him. The next day I had to open, so I was back at 5:15. 7am rolls around, and the guy calls in...my partner answered the phone, and the guy wanted to file a complaint against me. My partner was an older guy, really funny, chill....pretty cool. So he tells the guy who he should call, and then turns to me and asks me what happened. He said "Oh that's no big deal, don't worry about it." Then the bartender comes in at 10, and walks in "What the hell happened last night??!!??" so I told the story. He laughed about it. When I came back to work the next weekend, I had a little chat with my boss. He said he put all the blame on the kid I was working with for leaving me alone to close on my 2nd day working in the shop...so nothing happened to me. I became a legend for this, and the story is still told 4 years later.

I registered a person in the library system under the wrong number... Technically he can "steal" books and no one would ever find out. :rick:

I also put the wrong call numbers on the book spines... hehe

 

My worst **** up, Well I turned down a 2 year paid ride to Pasadena Arts Center. Back in 94
