That's absolutely hideous. I thought fenders had been their worst as regular z3 fenders.

well, the fenders and hood are made out of the same material, so if the hood is lighter, why wouldn't the fenders be lighter:dunno:

I just can't imagine someone putting them on if they weigh more than the oem ones.

Fenders are thin metal with no support. Hoods have lots of skeleton underneath, which weighs a shit ton.

All depends on the thickness of the carbon fiber.


But really, would you spend $150 on carbon fiber fenders to shave a pound or two? Fenders are super light.
