 My internet keeps going down on my desktop. I have the WMP-11 wireless network card from Linksys. The signal isn't constant and will go from 40% signal strenght to like 0% and disconnect. Is there something that isn't setup right on my card:madfawk:

move it around a couple inches, and if you have an antenna, make sure its straight up.

please don't tell me you have 2.4Ghzt phones in your house and this is also on the 2.4Ghtz band as well.

The official word from Linksys is that you WILL have some problems if this is the case. I doubt that you're more than 150 feet away from the router so I doubt that's the case.

I also suggest that you check to see if you're connected to your wireless network or the dude next door. I only say this because I ran into problems with a few of my customers and it turns out their wireless NIC was connecting to someone else's network...LOL

we have linksys and it operates at the same wavelength as the phones in our house. we've never had a problem (thank god). i have a blitz card, and occasionally it shits out on me, but if you just movie it around a little it should be ok.
