the signal isnt strong enough because something is interfering....haha, i have 4 large speakers around my modem and router and my signal is excellent (98-100%) from a different floor

Make sure the antenna on the back is screwed in tightly and sticking straight up. Also, consider the newest drivers for the card and firmware updates for the router. Really stablized my connection.
