The official word from Linksys is that you WILL have some problems if this is the case. I doubt that you're more than 150 feet away from the router so I doubt that's the case.

I also suggest that you check to see if you're connected to your wireless network or the dude next door. I only say this because I ran into problems with a few of my customers and it turns out their wireless NIC was connecting to someone else's network...LOL

we have linksys and it operates at the same wavelength as the phones in our house. we've never had a problem (thank god). i have a blitz card, and occasionally it shits out on me, but if you just movie it around a little it should be ok.
