thank you sweetie. i don't care what you believe, but lets face it, this is supposed to be a free country, where you're allowed to believe in anything you want. pepsi was trying to be a good company, and by putting "under god" on there bottles, they would leave p[eople out. unfortunately, people don't normally think this way.

just in case you guys wanted to read the actual unedited post.

ahh i love it when people lie and cheat to prove their points..

did it ever occur to you that i actually don't care? i get frustrated when people try to push their religion on me, or take pity on me b/c i'm going to hell, but if you want to go worship buddha in your basement, go ahead. the point of it in that post was that whether you are christian, atheist, wiccan, muslim, or whatever, this is a free country and we have every damn right to believe in what we want to believe. pepsi understood that, and embraced that.

funny how after a page later nobody cared until you.

i'm done respondiong to your posts. i've thought about it, and i think its just a waste of my time. maybe you succeeded in making me look like an ass, but i don't know, i can't tell what other members see when they post it unless the tell me. all i know is that i will not admit fault here, b/c i know what i posted and i know that it wasn't even remotely meant to insult anyone. it just bothered me b/c you pulled it way out of context, and that was really low. this isn't the first time you've picked a fight with me over something really stupid, and i'm sure it won't be the last.

so if you have something to say, go ahead, say it, but my comments are hereby ended with you.

:blah:

under god shouldn't be in the pledge anyway since the country is so diverse that now a huge portion do not believe in any god. so what's more offensive. if the words "under god" were never in the pledge to begin with, would you biblethumpers really be that mad? but the second it's taken out you all go nuts like it was supposed to have been there because we're all supposed to be just like you. I drink coke and pepsi, and I'll continue to drink em both. this thread is :ghey:

i think the subject (can) in question was dr. pepper if i remember correctly. i know some people on HAN couldn't boycott it if they tried :rick:

it really shouldn't be there anyway, but like i told nightshade (or maybe someone else, i forget) there are more important things that we need to focus on. starving children, AIDS, rainforest depletion, etc. they sound so cliche, but they really need the attention.
