My cat has lung cancer. He was actually diagnosed a few months ago but he's started going down hill pretty bad lately. His joints are stiff, he has trouble eating, and trouble breathing. But he still tries to eat as much as possible and he still loves to be petted. He still has the will to live and he's hanging in there but it's heartbreaking to watch sometimes. He's been my buddy for 15 years and I knew something would happen eventually but it still sucks.

 

that sucks man. I just had to put down my 18 year old kittah. I felt terrible, but hey he made it 18 years and lived a wonderful life.

 

that sucks man. i'm sure he's had a great 15 years and give him the best you can while he's still around.

i'm dreading the day my dogs get old.

sorry to hear man. our family cat was like 8yrs and diagnosed with leukemia. but he survived to 12 yrs. my sister chose to put him down because his quality of life deteriorated quickly and stuff. just make sure the kitty isn't suffering. it sucked for me cuz i moved out and didn't see him to much before he was put down, but he was one of the coolest cats ever. RIP Nike.

 

Poor kitty. At least he's given you 15 good years.
