sorry to hear man. our family cat was like 8yrs and diagnosed with leukemia. but he survived to 12 yrs. my sister chose to put him down because his quality of life deteriorated quickly and stuff. just make sure the kitty isn't suffering. it sucked for me cuz i moved out and didn't see him to much before he was put down, but he was one of the coolest cats ever.
