and jkan, trust me I know what I'm talking about. don't try and confuse yourself with all the useless bullshit you are spitting out. it doesn't matter if its oem or not. My car comes with oem 9004 bulbs, but that doesn't mean im getting a 9004 oem kit...which arent MADE. Have you ever heard of H4H? If you haven't then just drop the subject.

yes i know what H4H is...my point was the factory oem acura hid kit is osram H1 and it's not just plug and play into your teg so good luck with that. Just don't argue with me...i've actually done the conversion in my car.

maybe the standard motor but i KNOW for a fact you could get the 333 hp motor in the E36 body in europe. And i don't see any euro spec m3's running around here either hitting high 13's. I live in america and i assume you do too so no stock m3's i would be racing run nowhere near high 13.

DUDE if you go back to what I originally said, all I have to do is shave down the base of the bulb of an H4 bulb to make it fit H4H housing! I know THAT isn't plug and play, but as far as the ballast and ignitor are concerned, it IS.

well yes, any car with a freaking power/ground is compatable with the ballast the tricky part is hacking the stock harness to make it work.

Yes it makes more power because it's the 333 hp motor, they were available in the E36 bodies in europe with a 6spd or SMG. They basically shipped that motor (i'm not sure the code) over to the US and put them in the E46's. My uncle was telling me this a year before the E46 came out, he wanted to do the euro 333 hp motor swap into his 99

Incorrect the E36 m3 euro engine is S52 the current E46 M3 engine is S54.
they are two different engines. Block is different, the S52 has itb but two tbs are tied together. S54 has true ITB.
S52 Euro = 333bhp
S54 euro = 343bhp (333hp in the us).
So your uncle is misinformed. Also the euro swap is not as fast as the S/C that he did.
