Incorrect the E36 m3 euro engine is S52 the current E46 M3 engine is S54.

they are two different engines. Block is different, the S52 has itb but two tbs are tied together. S54 has true ITB.

S52 Euro = 333bhp
S54 euro = 343bhp (333hp in the us).

So your uncle is misinformed. Also the euro swap is not as fast as the S/C that he did.
