Default Morning workout crew sign-in

Anyone here work out in the mornings? I'm finding it tough to maintain energy on an empty stomach at 6am in the morning; any tips? Workout squad?

i used to run before class/work every morning. running early in the morning has an amazing way of clearing your head and waking you up. when you get to class/work, you will be able to think much better as compared to sleeping a little longer and doing your normal morning routine. definitely try running before work!

Yeah I try to do treadmill right after I lift, but that usually stretches the workout to 2 hrs. Did you eat something before you went running? I'm thinking a granola bar or something of that sort should do the trick.

a small protein shake always does the trick.. BTW cardio in the am on an empty stomach is when you burn the most calories.

I want to start doing cardio in the morning. I just am not a morning person so its hard for me to get out of bed

i only do on sundays.. around 10 or so when they open.. the rest the week its at 10pm lol

It's tough to squeeze breakfast in because my "time slot" is 6am->8am, and I don't think I can wake up any earlier lol. I'll try a shake + granola bar before each workout and see if it helps.
