What do you want me to do?

Put a four paragraph, drawn out explanation that's just my opinion anyway? You'll dismiss it before you get to read ten words. I'll save us both time.

You could not reply at all, if that's how you feel.

Sup DC2.

Found out that a VP at work owns a Crossfit gym close to home. May check it out. Getting real tired of the bench, deadlift, ect routine.

Nice! What's the name/url of your VP's gym? If you're sick of your conventional routine, then it wouldn't be a bad idea to check this out. For example today I did:

Warm-up:
400m run
Dynamic stretching
5-5-5 Back Squat @ 85% max (185lbs)

Workout:
800m run
30 Muscle-Ups
800m run

Cooldown:
10 Turkish Get-Ups @ 20lbs each hand

What the fuck man?

Don't be so fast to assume. I'm NASM personal training qualified, 18 hours short of finishing a Exercise Science Kinesiology bachelors degree, and totalled 1055 in big 3 PL'ing two years ago before an MCL PCL tear. All while running sub 18 minute 5k's.

Oh yeah, and my lab partner's big sis is a crossfit instructor in NOLA. I've tried it. Say what you want, but in my somewhat experienced opinion, it doesn't hold shit against a good all around compound or volume split. If it works for you, great. But that shit isn't end all.

I dunno about crossfit, but I took a les mills body pump class at the gym a few weeks ago and just about barfed. And I run 8 miles a week and lift 4 or 5 days a week I think it's because I actually used an appropriate weight for every exercise and all the old ladies were squatting with 5 lbs on their bar h:

:edit: and on the crossfit vs. whatever else debate, I'm going to say the same thing I've always said. Once you've got a handle on the basics and the form (aka you're not doing it wrong) pretty much any legitimate workout out there will get you into great shape as long as you have the motivation and don't cut corners. If going to a class or a club gives you the accountability to actually do the work, good for you. If a personal trainer works, good for you. If you can do it on your own using videos or a workout you found online, good for you. The point is to stick with it and put in the effort. If you can do that, you're pretty much guaranteed results.

Dude, don't expect people to respect you off the bat if you're going to give the replies like you did in the beginning. This fucking guy. I love the internet, discussions can't be normal without some bullshit like this.
