Don't be so fast to assume. I'm NASM personal training qualified, 18 hours short of finishing a Exercise Science Kinesiology bachelors degree, and totalled 1055 in big 3 PL'ing two years ago before an MCL PCL tear. All while running sub 18 minute 5k's.
Oh yeah, and my lab partner's big sis is a crossfit instructor in NOLA. I've tried it. Say what you want, but in my somewhat experienced opinion, it doesn't hold shit against a good all around compound or volume split. If it works for you, great. But that shit isn't end all.
