You guys don't get it. He's saying that the original VW Beetle has been in production so long and getting continuously refined that if you bought a 2003 Beetle (not New Beetle) it would have little in common aside from some body panels and basic mechanical layout with a 1963 Beetle. The same thing is true about the Jeep Wrangler.

yeah... but fuji was talking about the "new beetle", so that's what I meant. "new" beetle versus "old" beetle are totally different. even if it were a 2003 "old" beetle, it'd still be real different from a 2003 "new" beetle. Anyway... I'm not a fan of either car...

I'll either wait for 2f2f to come out on Starz, or *maybe* waste electricity downloading it off the net. I'm not going to deal with driving a long distance, paying money, waiting in line, and having to sit in a large dark room with a bunch of ricers.

How's Italian Job? good?
