I wasn't arguing even though some of the effects when not used properly are harmful. but undercontrol and and conjunction with eating healthy and exercising it is a valid combination(of course one would just use certain vitamins as well)

True... but even with that it can't be eating healthy for a week or month. Again it can be seen as temporary if you dont do it right. Its a lifelong thing. You cant say "I'm not gonna get heart disease because I ate healthy for a year when I was 21... then again when I was 23."
i understand your point perfectly. exercising or taking these pills or eating well all for a brief amount of time will never be a good way to get any long term goals achieved. only through routine and determination and keeping on a sorta schedule will you have an effective work out plan

do some weight training to pack on some muscle so that your body burns more calories. Then do some more cardio to burn more calories and eat a balanced diet and you'll be on your way to losing weight and a healthier you. It does take some time, don't get frustrated if you don't see results right away.
