Default ? for the workout people

ok...a simple, possibly dumb question.

most of u know i used to be pretty fat (5'10" 220lbs, 38" waist). then i went on a mad cardio and weightlifting spree, and i got down to 150lbs/30" waist a year ago.

after i achieved my weight loss goal, i cut back on cardio and focused more on weight lifting. now i'm happy with what i can lift, but i wanna get SWOL. im getting stronger, but i'm not gaining mass.

what do u recommend for the bulking process? should i just eat as much as i can, avoiding junkfood? i guess i'm paranoid that all the food will go to my midsection. also, i'd prefer to do it all natural, no supplements.

or maybe i just cant get way, because of genetics and stuff?

to achieve muscle mass gain, you've gotta keep pushing. I'm sure you know this, but at the end of EACH set, you should be struggling with your last 1-2 reps. EVERY time. if you aren't more weight is critical.

There is some rule about this, but I can't remember what the name is.

low fat, mad proteins, moderate amounts of carbo.

i can never do that , i eat everything. i use to be 130 and 28 inch waist then i started working out and slowly gained, now i'm 165 with a 30 inch waist.

Man, you're in the position where alot of people are. It's the genetic side. I've seen guys your size who can push mad weight but look no bigger than me. And then you have the guys who are swol and can't even lift as much. It's alot to do with genetics. The guys who use the supplements, some of the swol effect is water retention. Not to a big degree, stick with how you are. It's nice to look a normal size and throw up some ridiculous weight that a big ass dude is lifting. They tend to walk off in disbelief. to you.
