Paid $175 for it once i left the gun shop, the made me buy a $12 trigger lock that was $5 at walmart, but PA law stated i couldn't leave the shop w/out one. And, uh, if you're in PA and you have a clean record.....i was in and out of the gun shop in 40 minutes on a friday night.

Took the best firearms training course availible.....4 years as a US Marine.
I'm in PA and my friend walked out without a trigger lock? They had an employee carry his pistol and another guys who had a scope installed out and give them to him outside. I don't know what the deal with that was. The other guy told me friend "I guess they figure we won't thnk to load the gun outside and then come back in and rob them". The salesman he bought his gun off made absolutely sure to take a rag and wipe all his prints off the gun after he touched it. Ha ha, oh well, no waiting period, in and out in about an hour and my friend doens't even have his permit yet (still waiting for it to come). Seeya.

Definitely take a class first.
:werd: you don't have to have a gun safe, but you are required by law to purchase a gun lock, and when you purchase a new gun, you have to demonstrate that you know how to check for a round, open the slide, drop the magazine and lock the gun with the lock you buy.

and the test you take is a fucking joke... one question was:

The safest direction to point a handgun is:
A. North
B. Left
C. Down
D. The safest possible direction that an accidental discharge won't cause bodily harm or propert damage

Holster holds an extra magizine. picked this one up for about $20. also have another holster for an "inside the pants" carry. not too comfy, but useable.

You can see in the picture with the yard stick, the overall size of it isn't very big. I have the russian commercial model which allows use of double stack magizines. The origonal military models (to the best of my knowledge) only used single stack magizines. the difference is that a single stack model can only use mags that hold 8 rounds. A double stack model can use the 8 round, 10 round, or 12 round magizines. So i toss one in the chamber and with the holster i'm carrying 21 rounds on me at all times

Accuracy....i'm pretty good from 15 yards with this thing. I'll put it this way, from 15 yards, i can dump 10 rounds in rapid fire and about 6 will hit you in the chest. not bad for a short barrel that only has 1/2 twist on it :P

Also a Japanese Arisaka 38 Carbine. Authentic Japanese WW2 rifle. Grandfather brought it back from the south pacific when he got out of the army. He never shot it, just loaded it all up with grease when he got home and put it away. I got my hands on it about a year and a half ago. Grandmother didn't even remember it was still in the house, and when i reminded her, she asked me to take it. I've never shot it, ammo is RARE and $1/round. Have the origonal (authentic) bayonet that goes with it too.
