fyi: diamond aren't rare -- AT ALL. There are rooms in South Africa with kabatrizillions of diamiond waiting to be released to the market, on a schedule, so as to keep the price atificially high. Diamonds have been marketed by de biers(sp) as *the* stone for engagments and whatnot. This was only into the last 100 years or so that this has happened. The prices are rediculously overinflated. You're better off getting your girl an emerald, or ruby or other stone..

just my quick take without reading any of this.. you're a sucker if you pay anything without taking off about 35% these people are salesmen just play hard to get for awhile that price will drop faster than your brides dress on your honeymoon
