Werd on the joints toll...most medical issues in the military are joint-related due to the excessive amounts of running done.

So its an official thread now

I have the app for my Droid for the c25k plan and for the tracking of the run paths themselves I have an app called "Jog Tracker" haven't gotten a good chance to test it but will test it on my next bike ride.

I am going to be logging details of the runs which will be 3 days a week until the end of the program, then it will probably jump to 5 days a week.

I have been reading up on joint impact and there are ways to minimize impact overall but never fully eliminate of course, I have never known of any sport being "no impact" so I am ready to deal with this if it comes up.

I'd be down to do something like this. I never was a runner or really liked running, but it does feel good after a nice run every now and then. Pretty out of shape and been meaning to work out again soon, but I do have really bad knees and ankles from stuff I've done in the past, any tips on reducing joint impact and such?

Jon,

Did you download the pro version of c25k?

And was it for droid or your itouch?

No I have the free version for droid, couldn't find any benefits to paying for the full version honestly aside from donating to the site.

Can you do this on a treadmill? Sorry the question might've been asked and I overlooked.

Reading some reviews points me in the direction of the c2k5 pro app. Background mode, on top of a few other features seem to make it worth it. Meh, it's only $2.
