lol

this is not a comment on the motivation behind the action, only on the action itself

ive seen loving family pets at the end of their last breathes taken behind the shed with a shovel with dad

ive seen the runt kitten the mother abandoned at birth be drowned because there was no way they would survive

ive picked up a rock on a squirrel i hit with my car and pulled over to check on

the quality of those animals lives was at its lowest form, and out of respect for their suffering they were euthanized in ways that some may find brutal, but others find a normal part of life

ive also seen the looks in the eyes of the people who commited these acts and the sorrow and loss they feel is as great as any other owner, the respect they showed that animal in its final moments was greater than anything a guy with a white coat and a needle could offer

but hey, judge away, i know i judge the shit out of all of you

I mean, I grew up on a farm. We had to put down hundreds of pigs/cattle etc. Every one was with a quick bullet. And everyone of them was going to die in the next day or so.

Drowning an animal? Ridiculous. May as well slit its throat and watch it bleed out.

I agree. The guy may be a sicko, but euthanasia is euthanasia, and the dog didn't suffer any more than necessary because of the method he chose.

The only problem I see is this guy taking the dog's life in his hands instead of letting the owner do it.

I've had to extinguish a squirrel with my shoe before, believe me, that squirrel was thankful (in whatever capacity squirrels have for that kind of feeling), and I know I was doing the right thing.

So dude called me today. He said "I feel like an ex girlfriend. Why haven't you got a hold of me in the past couple of days?" I told him that I thought what he did was intense and I'm still processing it. He waited like 30 seconds and responded with "Whatever, bye"

After this I get six text messages back to back.

"Okay well if your not going to say it i will, i feel that we have met an end to our friendship. I feel like you are punishing me and i dont need the added stress. I know you would have reacted this way thats why i wasnt going to tell you, but (My brother) ruind that. Its not exactly any of your business but i have included you because you were my BEST FRIEND and i dont enjoy lying. Lest of all to you. I thought you would understand a little more, if we were in opposite situations i would have had your back, cause i was your friend nomatter what, sure it wouldof been kinda crazy to hear but if it was something you felt you had to do who am i to stand in the way of your personal life.. As your friend i would have decided to accept you the way you are or.. just not be your friend. I did what i had to do, what i was told to do repeatedly.. Besides. He was my dog too. I worked for him. I played with him walked him and cleaned up after him."

I get on Facebook later and he deleted and blocked me.

Sorry for the spelling and grammar errors, I just copied everything he said.

Are you still hung up on this? Seriously animals get killed in fucked up ways all day everyday. From some of the food on your plate to old dying pets it's not always pretty.

Where's your bleeding heart for them? All you fucking gun fiends make me laugh so hard, one minute you're bragging about going hunting and killing animals and the next you're crying over some fucking dog getting offed. :a: Get a fucking grip.

Call the cops on him Unless you're friend had a fucking dog fighting ring Micheal Vick style I wouldn't even be phased by this.

But hey, do whatever helps you sleep better at night

I understand that but still I find it hilarious that someone can get so worked up over an old dog, not even his dog.
