That dog did nothing his whole life did nothing but want to please his owner and family and yet this person can toss all that out the window and take a baseball bat to his head? Seriously something is wrong with that persons thought process.

Yes I have killed a lot of animals but this is not something I could do to an animal who had trusted me to care for it, its just cold blooded is what it is.

No, just stating that he is now mad at me for "punishing" him by not talking to him for 4 days because I'm still processing if I want to keep in touch with him or not.

So vets can kill animals but their owners can't?

Not that they can't but its more how it is done.
If you mean by law then technically you are correct, but the law tends to be pretty stupid and more a nanny decree.

Yeah, that's where I was going.

I agree a baseball bat is kinda fucked but, then again, there are few other options and honestly I'd rather be able to make sure the pet doesn't have to suffer longer than necessary.

If the guy waited 2 days the dog would have been put down by a vet. And I was told by his brother that he was aware of this.

I understand. I think it was a fucked up thing the guy did, especially since plans were already in place. However, I sympathize with the guy if he was the one to have to clean up after the dog. However, maybe putting the dog outside for a couple days would have been a better alternative.

I'm really just speaking in general on the topic.
