it doesn't help though that the north constantly threatens the south and then demands all kinds of food aid, and then when they don't get as much as they want they call the south tightfisted . . . coming from a country with leaders surrounded by lavish luxury

there's where just recently south korea sent 5,000 tonnes of rice to the north. up until '08 south korea alone shipped almost half a million tonnes of rice a year to the north

Obviously, the north's equipment is archaic compared to that of the south. mainly soviet era and homegrown weaponry based on soviet/chinese designs

i don't even want to think about a Korean war. the North Korea could cause a lot of initial damage by guerrilla warfare. but when the dusts settles i think the south would eventually get command and FSU. I honestly don't know if china would get involved. they're greedy bastards and care too much about their economy.
