North vs South Korea, it's on.

INCHEON, South Korea – North and South Korea exchanged artillery fire Tuesday after the North shelled an island near their disputed sea border, killing at least two South Korean marines, setting dozens of buildings ablaze and sending civilians fleeing for shelter.

best part of the article is how china sits there and says both sides need to practice better attempts at peace. They refuse to lay blame on the North and that just keeps this shit up.

I hope the south finally says enough is enough and fucks the north up.

Team America: World Police will step in and try to fix this and take 9 years to do so... :oh:

The report I read earlier on CNN (which has since been modified and they removed the only part I liked), interviewed a Korean analyst and he was talking about how many of the people in N. Korea are starving, that they have run out of resources and are scrambling for bargaining chips to use against S. Korea and the US. Hoping they can trade a cease fire for resources.

Good luck with that...

majority of N korea has been surviving on UN food aid handouts for years, which really means US food handouts.

And the Obama administration has already said the six-party talks are done and over with now, the north lost its last chance with the opening recently of a new nuclear centrifuge center that's supposedly state of the art.

But you're right, that's the most likely scenario. N Korea has always been able to start a tussle or get people riled up to get them to listen. It's always worked in the past for them. It's about time they said enough . . . however North Korea has the backing of China . . . which makes it S vs N and US vs China. Not a scenario i'm exactly excited about
