I hate my car.

The 3.4 V-6 (190HP) has plenty of grunt for the Tacoma with an automatic or 5-speed. The 5-speed is on the wild and hairy edge of being downright fun. Tacoma's ride is a bit stiffer than the Tundra's when it comes with the TRD package, but not unliveable by any means.
Only complaint I had with the Tacoma was, surprisngly, the headroom was a bit skimpy. Never fear, I'm 6'5...you probably won't have that problem.
The Tundra's price racks up quickly and I really don't think it's worth the money in this case. It has a nicer interior and is a lot roomier but who cares. Yes, the 4.7 liter i-Force (245HP) V-8 is a sweet engine, but you'll pay at least $27,000 for it. And they're in demand, so expect little negotiating leeway. Don't get the 3.4 V-6 in the Tundra, you'll regret it.

I'm hoping this one will satisfy my needs. I think I'm just over all tired of imports. I've had a Mustang GT before 87-93, I liked it but if it was in better condition then it was I would have liked it even more until I blew the damn motor on it. I have a older Civic hatch an 89 which was crap and I've also had a 91 crx si, which I didn't like cuz of the size, it was to damn small. I wasn't really trippin to much on the Mustang and the gas it wasn't to bad for a V8.

So talking prices this is good info man. And damn 6'5 holy shit bro, I'm only 5'7. I think I would fit perfectly in the Toyota Tacoma, I'm thinking of getting the prerunner v6 trd off road version, of course 4 door, do you think it's worth it and how much does that go for usually? I'll be going with automatic this time.

Toyota's Build Your Own section was curiously down a few moments ago, but a fairly well loaded Tacoma as you described might be around $25,000-$26,000. You can probably convince Toyota to part with one for $1,500-$2,000 less.
They're a great truck and will last you forever. Even the Taliban liked them.

The Pre-Runner's are nice and are a good value. Personally I think the Double Cab 4-doors look a bit goofy (bed is too short, cab is too long) but you almost need it over the standard XtraCab (rear jump seats but doors do not open).

LOL even the taliban liked them huh. I noticed that about the Toyota Tacoma 4 doors and the small beds. I was wondering what the hell. Well hopefully I won't have anything to big going in the back, most likely I'll be buying used maybe a year or so not to old. For the 25k-26k is that for a brand new one?

You're almost better off just getting new and be done with it. They hold their value so well it's not worth finding one with 30,000 miles on it and only paying $2,000-$3,000 less.
If you get the Double Cab, you might want to get a bed extender for the hell of it. They come in handy.

I'd expect $25K-$26K from what you describe. They start at around $19,000, but that get's you the rental fleet Regular Cab 2.7 liter 4-cylinder variant.
