worked out well...making an average of $25 an hour...bought my car in 3 months...but i had to work my ass off...to get nothing 1/2 the time..

you tell me that im living at home...and blah blah blah..damn right i am..AND what do you think you are doing?

i get a garage..which is all i care about..

and you say i BLOW my money on a turbo kit for my civic..sounds like your jealous...its ok..i understand you would be...

i only paid $1000 for the kit...not a whole lot of money...
Actually I don't live at home, but I don't consider the dorms living on my own. Right now I'm being funded by my parents because I am in SCHOOL. I'm 18. However, I don't see anything wrong with that because YOU are the one talking about living in the real world, yet you are in a similar situation to me (with respect to not being financially independent).

Oh, and personally I'd rather spend 1,000 on first and last months rent for my own apartment before I spend it on a turbo kit. As far as being jealous, I would like at turbo kit on my car yes, but I'd rather be financially independent FIRST. So with that respect, no I'm not jealous of your situation.

Would you like me to define IT for you?

Some dealer at the casino was being an ass to me yesterday... I dropped $200 on one table to change but he wouldnt touch it or even look at me. The dealer was young and the rest of the guys playing were older guys.

He finally changed my money but then still was being a dick... so I got pissed and told him to change my chips in so I could leave the table... I called him a name and half the table smiled at me, got up and left.

I park my own car no matter what so you gets no tip from me.

BTW the worst tippers out there are regulars in bars. I bartended for 6 years and the locals that were there regularly tipped like shit...so I poured their drinks light and those that tipped well got an extra second on the pour.

Just how it works.

exactly... no matter where I go out first tip I make is a big one. after that the waitress or bartender will serve you first or even just ask if you need any more drinks as they walk by.

ANYWAY, My point is, I live ON MY OWN, so with my job, tips are a major part of my income. I don't know about anyone elses' perogative, but my well being is based on that. My sole point is, that someone like Tipper Gore should be throwing a little more than 75 cents for a tip.

I myslef tip very well, I am a regular at one bar here in town, and I tip so well that I get outstanding service, even though I go there twice a week and spend the same amount every time. Hell, I tipped 9.00 at Waffle House the other day on a $15 tab. It is all perspective. And since I have done this for a while now, I can guarentee that when I graduate and have a "real" job, that I will do even better. By the way I am not some 18 yr old college freshmen, I am a 25 yr old senior that took alot of time off.

I got a $70 tip today but I had to split it with my sister. Oh well that was on top of my 3 hours of pay of $650.
