do you have a hood for the range?

doesn't look like it, can't really tell.

we have a microwave/hood. not sure how it is as we haven't used it yet.

we have a few windows, and a fan in there, so i think it'll be ok. it's a step up either way because before, all we had was a vent (without a fan at all) and never really got smoked out.

we pretty much never use our hood vent anyway, so I'll be going with an above the range microwave to save counter space.
