tile floor went in yesterday, grout went in today. there's still a haze that i need to clean off from the grout. then we'll seal it this week. next weekend is electrical work adding some more outlets and putting in recessed lighting.

I really want to switch out my electric stove for a gas, but we'd have to install a gas line as well. Would cost about $500 on top of the stove cost. I just love the way gas cooks. Oh well... maybe it will be a Christmas present to the house for the end of the year.

i forgot to update after i cleaned the floor, but they're here installing the cabinets so i'll post that up. i did a time lapse video of it, and i'll post proper pictures when they're done.

yes i made sure to ask him before just in case. it was a camera hooked up to a computer taking a picture every minute.

what he doesn't know is that i was in the other room looking at the pictures every few minutes to see his progress. :rick:
