i would tear out your driveway at the same time and use paver stones. but that will be a lot costly than what you currently want to spend.

i think i decided to get rid of the raised thing all together...i will keep the dirt there and make it level with the ground....and grow low maintenance low height plants there. the thingy to the right, i am going to reshape and rebuild with some kinda retaining wall stone. 
anyone have a bug fucking sledgehammer i can borrow?
