And those (other games) are also all on the 360.

 

I am getting it on the PS3. What disappointed me is that when I started to use my PS3 for more than watching BluRay movies I realized not all PS3 games support 1080p. WTF? Old games like MGS4 supported 1080p, but new games like Darksiders doesn't....????

Anyways, if FF13 supports it then it's a plus.

Normally, in order to get a game running smoothly at 1080p, certain things need to be reduced, like texture detail, or number of effects on screen, there is a balance that a developer needs to achieve and right now 720p seems to be that sweet spot. When developers start to better understand the PS3 and 360 (like some developers have started to) then they can start to up the detail and the resolution.

i enjoyed VIII the most actually, but VII was a game changer when it came out.

ok, I lied. I actually completed VIII, and almost completed IX. Liked IX better than VIII....but VII was the best, easily.

If I did buy XIII, I'd get it on PS3 though. it would seem odd playing it on 360...even though it's my preferred console.

never really got into the FF franchise, but after watching the latest trailer for this (one with leona lewis song) it's def a must have. game just looks amazing
