in all seriousness it was probably just a server or software upgrade issue. the problem I have is why didn't IBdouche (or whatever his user name is) get on here and leave a message saying so? it's shitty business practice to leave people hanging.

only 5k? That's cheap I'm sure plenty of peeps would've had the time and money to buy it from him. The recurIng charges must be expensive though. Yet I agree with Brian... It was a douche move to sell it without at least asking here first.

Long story short: The denial-of-service attack is part of a consumer revolt against Internet Brands' new pricing for VBulletin 4.0 (the software which runs all the IB-owned sites plus thousands of others worldwide).
A couple of paid-up customers complained about the new pricing terms and were banned from the VBulletin support forums. Thus, IB left those customers without any support for the product they purchased.

If he were on fire, I won't cross the street to piss on him.
He sold us all down a river of shit and paid for a wedding with the proceeds.
That speaks volumes about his priorities.
