+1 on new christians doing this.

i feel like i do remember being taught in sunday school that we should try to share the word with other people. i obviously did not do this, because, well, i was like 10. i still don't.

anyway, to the OP, i've observed the same pattern.
i am not saying the people that you mention are any better nor am i doing any form of comparison.

All i am trying to say is stop converting people. If you are happy as a Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Jewish, Parsi, Buddhist etc.. so be it. Practice you religion and leave it at that. To change other peoples faith (or bring people who dont believe in anything to believe in what they follow) is absolute bullshit.

There has been a village in the State I live in where 15,018 people converted to Christianity in one day. Selling religion is kinda whack, no matter how you look at it. /rant

so how do you all feel about missionaries and such i am thinking about joining my church on its 3rd trip to kandaria, kenya to build a medical center. the last 2 trips were for digging pipelines for water (which the villages now have) and assisting with schools.

Didn't you talk about those things to most of the people you knew.

Same concept.

I have a very strong faith. I know that some of you don't. If I knew that there was any hope with any of you to share what I know and what I have learned, I would. Most of you are turned off from Christianity because of Christians in your life that are not walking anywhere close to where they should be walking, and that is a shame.

Catholicism, I'm a "Catholic" but I'm not a devout practicing Catholic. I don't believe in some of the shit that they preach and practic. I believe in living a good life and treating people the same way.
