yeah that was pretty much my feeling, hence the rant to HAN and not to him. I am super glad he is in a good place and I don't want to fuck that up for him. If it takes Jesus to keep his ass happy and on the right path than that's cool for him, just annoyed really.

I always condemn that shit.

It is one of the reasons I have developed hatred towards Christianity. I see them(Christians) way more than any other religion doing this kind of shit about advocating to others to follow the path they have taken.

Fuck them!

My RA freshman year was the same category as your friend was and jesus ! what a pain in the ass she was.

Tell him you pity him for devoting his life to a fictional character.

These.

I recently went through some very rough shit. I renewed a certain level of my faith to get me through, but I shut my mouth about it, and wrote a story about it instead.

Born again Christians found a love they've always been searching for. Instead of finding what they thought was love through crutches, they found an even greater love through their spirit. Most just wanna share that, but don't realize that the people they're trying to "convert" aren't getting their asses kicked by life they way THEY were, so all it makes the people they're preaching to is go hfawk: to them AND their 'religion'.

Christians are supposed to be Christ-like. He listened more than he spoke. o:

responding this way makes you no better than the self-proclaimed Christians who condemn nonbelievers.

hatred towards an entire religion because of a small group of people is the same shit as having hatred towards an entire race because of a small group of people.

side note, the only reason why "Christians" seem to be the ones that do this the most is simply because of the sheer number of them. It's like saying every Camry driver is an idiot that cant drive because they have dents in the corner of their rear bumper.

I completely agree with you on the soliciting. I myself have strong faith, but I dont go about trying to sell or shove it down peoples throats. Im personally irritated by the door to door people. Heres how it usually goes down.

them: hi, are you a believer in God?
me: yes i am
them: heres a verse... blah blah blah
me: lady, im real happy for you and imma let you finish... lol jk... but for real hey, you dont need to win me over im already on your team. put the pamphlets away and try to enjoy the rest of the day for once.
them: :eek3:

I would go into this more in-depth if it was in the On-Topic section of the forum, but since it is not, I will just say that when you first found cars, or girls, or anything you were excited about, isn't that all you wanted to talk about? Didn't you talk about those things to most of the people you knew.

Same concept.

I have a very strong faith. I know that some of you don't. If I knew that there was any hope with any of you to share what I know and what I have learned, I would. Most of you are turned off from Christianity because of Christians in your life that are not walking anywhere close to where they should be walking, and that is a shame. You know how most of us came onto this forum, went into the tech section and someone had a problem with their transmission and you were sure it was their headlight fluid being low (pure example only) and someone told you to be quiet noob, to read up on what you were talking about before spitting out something stupid. That is how most Christians are. They become a worldly Christian by acceptance, then deny Him and The Word by their lifestyle instead of getting into The Word and finding out how to truly live their lives.

If someone wants to make an on-topic thread for this, I would love to have a discussion about it, but not in here.
