And even if you dont want to believe it's THE most hated country there is no denying that it's at least in the top 3. Still my statement before stands. He is trying and actually changing the perception people have of the USA and some can turn to the USA as a internationnal leader again. That is a big achievement IMO.

some of the international community might not have liked bush - but the mexicans that kept crossing the border sure didnt mind - so at the very least usa > mexico

+1 for tarks campaign
changing the rest of the worlds opinion is a great step IMO, best anti-terrorist weapon we have
as for the prize, its all media crap regardless, but i do think that the election of obama marked a serious step towards what the piece prize represents, and that is worthy, not necessarily his own doing, but you have to give it to someone
