granted we arent liked but we are far from one of the most hated. there are plenty of countries throughout the world that thank the US daily for being there and plenty of people who hate on the US without thinking of the good they do for them or their country

I disagree with him winning it but i understand why they decided to give it to him. We are at a impasse in this world. The USA has been viewed as an egotistical ruler that will do anything they want. They have been doing things even if the majority of the international community opposed those decisions. Now with the new head of state the world has more confidence in the USA. They are ready to support the USA even if for the past 8 years they have hated the USA.
He is trying to turn one of the most hated countries into a international leader not by force but by diplomatic talks. Obviously he has not proven himself with actions but there is not denying that the speeches he makes is to try to rally the countries together.

Most hated? Not highly liked I can agree with but not most hated by any stretch of the imagination.

The one at the top? This isn't the 50's anymore, America is far from being the best country in the world. Gotta stop believing everything Hollywood regurgitates into your head every time you see an action flick.
How are you at the top? Please enlighten me as to how you guys are the best?

Doesn't sound like a country who's ''on top'' to me.

hey if we gotta step on 3rd world countries to protect our interests so be it.. personally i think we need to cut back on humanitarian aid and work on our own problems before helping everyone else.

Actually I think you are the most hated. Sure the states do some good but that doesn't outweigh all the shit you've done. Your country will stop at nothing to make sure it's interests are protected. Stepping on some third world country ain't shit if you guys get something out of it.

quality of life based on standards that dont reflect those of everyone ...
so you're telling me that the world hates the US more than Iran? more than north korea?
sure there are groups and nations that hate the US the most ... but from a majority viewpoint the US is hardly seen as the worst nation out there. There are still way more countries that consider us allies than enemies
