Chicago eliminated from 2016 Olympic running
Anyone can just calculate whatever they feel like with number taken from the the internet. Do you realize that according to you're calculations a flight to Europe in a 747 would cost approx 800$/person in fuel only? Does that not make you second guess your so called calculations?
A) The distance is actually 4050.3 statute miles
http://www.landings.com/_landings/pa..._dist_apt.html
B) 5 gallon a mile is probably (the site you quoted suck) a fully loaded 747 with full payload. This is surely not the way the president travels.
C) the price you posted is retail at the airport. i hope you don't believe that you fill up a airliner plane like you do your car. The actually cent/gallon paid at refineries last week is 174. i would think the Gov of the US to buy it maybe at around 2X that price on average. If that with all the options, hedging it must do for it's fleet.

Conclusion... don't talk about shit you have ABSOLUTELY no idea about.

a 747 can carry about 500 passengers. At a cost of $100K/transatlantic flight for fuel cost would only be 200$ per passengers. Also more fuel efficient planes.
1 more thing that alot of people dont think about are those last minute flights. they are usually expensive but they cost next to nothing for the airline.

you really need to learn when to shut up and accept that you are just and idiot.
a 70% loaded 747 uses 95% of fuel consumption. 5 gallon per mile 100% loaded. i ESTIMATED that Airforce1 would maybe une 85% consumption of 5 gallon per mile = 4.25 gallon per mile.
i already pointed out that the you gov IMO would pay about 3$/gallon
4000 miles at 4.25 gallon per mile with a cost of 3$/gallon = $51 000 X 2 X 3 = $306,000

in my opinion they spend 10 million dollers per gallon. let's use that.
Also, 70% loaded? That's like calculating the presidential limos MPG based on the MPG of a stock caddy.

X2 (the return) X3 (3 planes)
Don't they also get two fighters for protection during all flights as well. I would assume this would go for AF1 and the bitches plane as well being the "first bitch" and all...lets also calculate that the second plane was overloaded by about 300 pounds....Oprah been hitting the midnight snacks again.
