I don't quite understand it either. Have we become that conformist and reliant on others that we don't know how to react under conditions like that?

The throttle cable on my 4Runner got a stuck about 1/4 open for a brief moment. I pushed in the clutch, came to a stop, turned off the car, opened the hood, lubed the cable. Problem solved. h:

Darwinism. They taught us in driving school that if the throttle got stuck open, we simply should throw it into neutral or shut the engine off. Ive had cheap floormats do the same thing in traffic and you dont see me looking like meat waffles on the side of the road. h:
