I admittedly like the unplugged Nirvana album but their catalog as a whole is severely lacking in anything worth listening to. Maybe it is having lived in the NW when they hit big and it's on heavy rotation still, but then even when they first came out I looked at them as a sad attempt at a punk influenced revival with less talent and even more heroin.

I was pretty young when they came out and the whole grunge movement was going on. I wasn't really into the grunge stuff, but I liked Nirvana a lot....still do. It's simple power chord grunge rock, but I still think it's good.
