Still no pics?

 

Sorry, didn't get home until 9:30 last night (too dark for pics) and forgot to grab the camera on my way out the door this morning. Will post them tonight. Pinky swear.

I'm about 95% on the just taking the money and driving the beat car. The girlfriend gave me a good talking too about how useful that $8700 can be with our plans to do marriage, honeymoon, and house within the next 1.5 years.

Still going to swing by the Nissan dealer this Saturday and do a test drive, but they'd have to come up with some sort of ungodly deal to get me in a new Xterra.

 

Okay, so these pics did not turn out well at all. You can barely see the damage. The dings show up best in direct sunlight, but it's been raining the last couple days so that isn't really an option. I had to wait for the car to dry off after I got in to work today, and this is the best I could do in the dimly lit parking garage.








Needless to say, the damage is worse and more extensive than these pics make it seem. I'll try to get some better ones later.

The damage looks like nothing in those pics, but you say it's worse than the pictures show so I'll trust it

 

Dude, that's a 10 footer, and it's only a 4 year old car. Just keep it til it dies. You'd feel self-conscious driving around in that? Who gives a shit?

And, a ~$10k car is NOT a hoopty. Not even close.
