I actually don't mind it to much. It is from a coal fired power plant, and the wind almost never blows towards my house. It has employed a lot my family over the years in different ways, so I am pretty grateful in a way.

Two very exciting pics from the weekend

I wish I could take credit for the steps, however my brother is the one that glued them all up and did the install on them. Since he is living with my parents till we start his house next spring, he is much closer to the shop than I am. They don't have any finish on them at all yet, but once they do they will be amazing.



Other major event, I now have full plumbing service in the house, which is awesome.



Should be finished with the hot water heater tonight (had a couple of leaks in some threaded connections), and then everything should be ready for painting to be finished, then cleaning, and then carpet on Friday.
