nope still fourth richest county with a population above 1 million people. Still home to plenty of fortune 500 companies. The however many execs that got fired didn't really dent the overall population of over paid non auto execs. The places it really hurt were the blue collar cities in Wayne.

It's stupid to argue about, but I hate it when people think because I live 25 minutes from Detroit that I like live in the ghetto or something h:

What is property tax like in MI?

WI is the highest property tax in the country, and the 'burb that I work in has the highest property tax in the state FTL. There's a ton of nice 40k-80k homes in the city of milwaukee, but the property tax on them are 2500-3500 /year, which sucks because I rent for about 4000 /year :dunno:

thats expensive?

cuz thats about normal round here for a 30-60k house
