why is it taking so long to actually get into a combat zone? the american taxpayers aren't payin ya to crawl around some jungle in the Philippines and vaca in Japan all year

Yup, that is the truth with most countries. I had a blast in vietnam due in part to my gf's cousin knowing all the right places to go out.
