i dont think craig is implying that what we do now wont affect the future in some way, he is saying that it wont make it better or worse, it will just make it different

Thats exactly what Im saying. Things always seem to work themselves out regardless so Im not going to sweat it like all these goddamn treehuggers and Al Gores are doing.
