i think you're applying your own bias since the fact is that humanity has spent an inconceivable amount of time trying to interpret scripture. and in the end these are still human beings who are interpreting what was written. you people act like it's some kind of evil amorphous entity trying to impose its own malicious will. talk about ignorant...
I'll agree that the "global warming" situation has been overhyped by numerous outlets, but in reality, humans are having a notable impact on our environment and really, when it comes down to it, reducing our impact is the common goal we should all agree on.

I'm not bitching about pollution because, guess what, I live and thrive in a time where it's part of my life whether I like it or not. Fuck those cavemen and their paintings on walls. I say fuck that. Earth and it's species have all learned at one point or another to evolve and cope with it's surroundings, whether natural or man-made. And after we die, things are just going to get worse and lets not fool ourselves and say they wont. You'd be irrational to think otherwise. Humans are greedy and will inevitably kill ourselves off so dont try and make me feel bad that I dont recycle or drive a Hummer on dubs because once I'm gone, the next generation will learn to cope with how the world is.
